The ‘Sheps’ is a quaint village pub on the Nottinghamshire / Derbyshire border. It has always been popular with locals that have been out walking for good hearty food and great beer. The pub has recently undergone a complete re fit attracting lots of new custom from outside the area.
The Installation Brief
The pub required a speaker system that covered the restaurant, the bar and the large beer garden. Individual volume controls were required in all 3 areas. Often outside would be required to be switched off altogether, especially later on in the evening.
The Solution
Within the restaurant area we installed a quantity of Apart Audio OVO5T speaker enclosures. The Zoning was taken care of by using an Adastra RM244V 4 Zone Mixer Amplifier. This is a really cost effective solution when only 1 input source is required at any one time. The mixer has in built BlueTooth connectivity, along with USB and auxiliary input for a tablet or similar. There are individual volume controls for each of the 4 zones. The pa speakers inside the restaurant and the bar were split into 2 Zones. Outside we installed a quantity of Adastra IP rated (Waterproof) Loud Speaker enclosures. We also installed a single channel UHF radio microphone for announcements within the pub and beer garden and for pub quiz use also.
